HIS Intervent is a consultancy firm founded in the Maltese islands, with its origins in engineering enterprise open-source software and integration solutions. Our team consists of a network of professionals with decades of experience in digital health, cybersecurity, integration/interoperability, and software engineering.

After years of supporting national-scale digital health transformation projects in low-resource settings, the company's founder understood that the promises of digital health cannot be delivered or sustained long-term unless people, culture, and organisational practices are aligned with the transition from paper to digital.

HIS Intervent was formed to bridge the gap between health information systems and the realities on the ground. We execute digital health interventions that implement modular, interoperable, and sustainable health information systems combined with organisational change, helping improve patient health outcomes, enhance quality of care, and empower the health workforce.
